Almost three quarters of UK businesses (72 percent) are "happy to lose" more than 24 hours’ worth of data after a cyber-incident, new research shows. According to a report by Disaster Recovery, 13 percent of companies have never backed up their data, while 43 percent lost vital information in the last two years. The report also says that the number of businesses that protect their data on a continual basis jumped eight percent year on year to reach 29 percent.
